MORGAN FREEMAN IN ACCIDENT

Oscar winner Morgan Freeman was in a car accident last night outside of Charleston in the Mississippi Delta. People on the scene say that the actor was joking with medics and seemed to be in good spirits. The staff at the Memphis Regional Medical Center say that Freeman is in a serious condition. No alcohol or drugs were found on the scene of the accident.

DORIAN GRAY GETS A CAST….BEN BARNES

‘Dorian Gray’ a film version of the adaptation of Oscar Wilde’s classic ‘The picture of Dorian Gray’ has just attached some interesting actors to its production. Ben Barnes (who played Prince Caspian in ‘The Chronicles of Narnia’) will be playing Dorian Gray, Colin Firth has signed on to star as Lord Henry Wotton (sounds like it might be good)! The story centers on Gray (Barnes), a young man who becomes the subject of a painting. As the man descends into a hedonistic lifestyle, the portrait begins to age and morph, but he doesn’t.
We can’t wait to see this film!!

HEALTH SCARE FOR CHRISTINA APPELGATE

Christina Applegate is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. Applegate’s publicist says “Christina Applegate was diagnosed with an early form of breast cancer. Benefiting from early detection through a doctor ordered MRI, the cancer is not life threatening. Christina is following the recommended treatment of her doctors and will have a full recovery.”
We wish Christina the best, we love her!

SARAH JESSICA PARKER ‘THE IVY CHRONICLES’

Sarah Jessica Parker has just been attached to the film ‘The Ivy Chronicles’. The film has also attached writer Aline Brosh Mckenna, the woman who brought ‘The Devil Wears Prada’ to life. The plot is about an upper-middle-class New York mother who losses her high powered job and is forced to start over. The dramatic comedy is expected to do very well!

LINDSAY LOHAN AND SAMANTHA RONSON……..=LOSA

The newly crowned lesbo Lindsay Lohan has been SPOTTED coast to coast with her butch girlfriend Samantha Ronson. The couple (now we will call them LOSA) were SPOTTED this week in NYC at the Bowery Hotel and doing some shopping at Chanel. LOSA was also in Los Angeles hanging out with other celebs at the Thompson Hotel to celebrate Victoria Beckham’s birthday hosted by Allure magazine. Damn, something good must be going on under the sheets, Lohan is taking Ronson everywhere!

We love it when an old hot-spot gets a few volts of fun shoved up its ass to revive the party space….and it has happened in the east village! LIT (for the address check our BlackBook feature) has given itself a Wednesday night makeover! Every Wednesday Lit is the place to be. Hip downtown kids, fashionistas, models and celebrities are crowding the dive bar’s dance floor. Last week Chace Crawford and super model Jessica Stam were spotted rocking out behind the DJ booth. Yay! So be sure to check out this new party at an old space!
